Maligaon, 5 September 2026: The trainees of Don Bosco Technical School, Maligaon, marked Teachers’ Day on 5 September 2026 by dedicating their morning assembly to honouring their trainers. Through heartfelt songs and speeches, the students expressed deep gratitude for the dedicated and committed service of their teachers.
Addressing the gathering, Fr Joy Kachappilly, Director of the Institute, reflected on the life of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, in whose honour the day is observed, highlighting two qualities that defined his distinguished teaching career: his profound depth of knowledge and his enduring humility. Fr Joy urged both teachers and students to cultivate these qualities in their own lives.
Earlier in the programme, Ms Jemima Sungi, a teacher at the institute, spoke about the significance of the occasion and led the students in offering their thanks to the teaching staff. The brief but meaningful celebration concluded with the distribution of sweets.
