Awareness program on “Green Energy”

A one day awareness program on “Green Energy” was conducted for the students of  Don Bosco Technical School on 22nd May 2015. The participants were all the trainees who were undergoing training in Automobile, Electrical and Tailoring. The resource person for the program was Mr. Ashish Patel from Vertex Technology, Gujarat. This was initiated for the purpose of starting a sustainability program at our center of Green Energy and Renewable energy. The center was starting a program called “DBCREATE” (Don Bosco Centre for Renewable Energy, Advance Technology and Entrepreneurship). The participants were given input sessions on use of solar Energy, power conditioning unit, Power saving devices etc. It was an eye opener for many of the youth who participated.
